Avnish Jha, Son & Disciple of Shri Mani Kumar Jha (Gwalior Gharana) and Pt. Bholanath Mishra (Banaras Gharana). He has also served as the President of Backbeat- The Music Society of Ramjas College, Delhi university for the session 2020-21. His mother is Smt. Kiran Jha. He is the Grandson of Shri Surendra Jha and maternal Grandson of Shri Shyamanand Jha (President’s Award recipient). Avnish Jha has completed his graduation from Ramjas College, Delhi University and is persuing Masters in Hindustani Music from Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, Delhi University.
